Masters Annual Biathlon Camp

The Masters Biathlon camp has become a Biathlon institution. Every year coaches Paul Connor and Toscha Stopar run a camp for Masters (over 35 years old) from across Australia. This year we had biathletes from Adelaide, Rockhampton, Sydney, Wagga Wagga and Melbourne.

Held at Mt Hotham and staying at Dinner Plain the week long camp consists of target practise and ski technique. It is neatly book-ended by the East Gippsland race and Victorian Championships.

The camp has a great vibe with the Masters helping each other whether it's sharing a lane at the range, cooking dinner or setting up the range. The camp caters for the experienced and committed competitor, newbies and those seeking fun at the snow.

It isn't all hard work though. There is time to enjoy dinner and a wine in front of the fire, a cappuccino at Mountain Kitchen and an even an Osen Spa.

"This is my 3rd Masters Biathlon camp and it gets better every year. There is a great atmosphere amongst the camp participants. There is a good mix of training and fun." Mark.
