Just for a change training was at the beautiful North Head, Manly. This spot overlooks Sydney Harbour and out to sea. It also has good roads with little traffic. If wasn't for the occasion speed bump it would be perfect.
Today's session was focused on double-poling. Although double-poling isn't used in skate skiing as much as it is in classic, it is still used for starts, fast downhills and is also the base for all poling incorported with skating.
We finished off the session with some transitioning from double-poling to one-skate to two-skate.
Everyone has been making some good progress and with a chill in the air the winter season is on it's way.
