Western Sydney Parklands hosted the inaugural NSW Roller ski championships on Sunday 29th October 2017. A quite warm and sunny day greeted competitors from around Sydney, also Melbourne and even Charlottes Pass.
Competitors skated the 3.4 km track past the trees, scrub and creeks of the park on a wonderful flat tarmac course. With 15 second intervals it was a race against the clock. The age divisions were Under 17, Masters (over 35 years old) and the Open class.
