NSW Biathlon Championships - day 2

July 16, 2017

It was about great day at Mt Hotham, Australia. The format for the races was relays of two people. Each athlete would do a lap of the course, shoot 5 targets in the range, and then tag their partner. In total everyone completed 8 shoots and 10 laps each.

The format was a lot of fun and it gave each of the competitors a chance to think about our shooting and make adjustments during the course of the race.

This year was the first race for three NSW juniors and one master. I could tell from the look on their faces that they will be back next year.

This week is the Masters and High Performance Athletes camps followed by the Victorian championships.
