Australian Biathlon championships 2018 day 1
NSW did very well on the first day of the Australian Biathlon championships. The format was the Individual race with each competitor skiing 5 X loops and shooting 4 times with a 1 minute penalty for every miss.

Kate Spencer made a strong debut in the non-carry class.
We woke to an overnight dump of snow. When I got to the range for my training run the groomer was busy flattening out the tracks. Luckily it wasn't too cold or windy.
As an extra treat the national Korean team were there as part of their off season training.
Tomorrow is the Sprint event.
